DIY Shoe Charms & Open Studio Stations
Time: 10am-12pm & 1-4pm
Location: Wonder’neath Studio
In partnership with Wonder’neath Art Studio we’re excited to welcome you to the beautiful studios at 2482 Maynard St. Drop in to make your own polymer clay charm for your foam shoes! While you’re there take in some of many activities in the Wonder’neath studio at their collage, needle-felt, and painting stations. All materials provided.
This free art experience is ideally suited for school aged kids and older. All kids must be accompanied by a guardian.

Painting Workshop – Sold Out
Time: 12-2:30pm
Location: Halifax Shopping Centre
Join artist Meggie Richards at Halifax Shopping Centre for a free painting workshop for families with kids age 8+. Meggie will lead you through making your very own spring-inspired mixed media painting! Get creative using stencils, paints, markers and more!
Sessions are from 12-1pm and 1:30-2:30pm. All materials provided. Pre-registration is required.

Button Making
Time: 10am-12pm
Location: Halifax North Memorial Public Library
Join us at the library! We’ll help you create a masterpiece of art and turn it into a button you can take home. We’ll explore drawing materials, collage, and more and to make something unique to enjoy on the go!
All materials provided. This free art experience is ideally suited for school aged kids and older. All kids must be accompanied by a guardian.

Friday March 15
Button Making
Time: 10-11:30am & 1-3:30pm
Location: Ferry Terminals
Find us at Alderney Ferry Terminal and Halifax Ferry terminal with a free pop-up art activity for March Break. We’ll be offering art kits to folks departing for the ferry, with a chance to turn your drawing into a button when you arrive in the terminal! From 10-11:30am, and 1-3:30pm we will be sharing kits every half hour (10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 and 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30). Just pick up a kit on one side, make your drawing while riding the ferry, then return the kit to turn your design into a unique and memorable button!
