AGNS To Re-open June 8

The AGNS in Halifax will be re-opening to the public June 8, 2024.

The AGNS will be closing for an extended period starting February 1, 2024, for required maintenance. 

The fire suppression system in the South Building of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia has reached the end of its life and requires immediate replacement to ensure public safety and the safety of the Permanent Collection. The Gallery will look to reopen in the Spring.  

During this closure the AGNS will continue to offer its scheduled in-community programming and in-school programs through ArtsSmarts and ArtReach.
