Giving Art a Place to Thrive
Every donation allows the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia to make a difference for all of the visitors, school groups, and community partners who access our programs each year.

Through your support, we are able to deliver essential art programs that promote positive mental health and well-being to thousands of people each year.

The AGNS is a Crown Corporation. Donations to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia are eligible for a charitable tax receipt:
Pursuant to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Act, Chapter 22, Section 12 RSNS 1989, any gift to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia shall be a gift to the Crown, in right of the Province of Nova Scotia and shall be exempt from tax under any Act of the Legislature. The donor may also claim a deduction under paragraph 110(1)(b) or subsection 118.1(3) (if an individual) of the Income Tax Act of Canada.
