Every donation to the Ambitious Art Fund allows the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia to make a difference for all of the visitors, school groups, and community partners who access our programs each year.

Ways to give

By supporting the Gallery with an annual gift, you are providing vital, unrestricted funds that are essential to ongoing operations. Your gift will allow us to deliver inspiring exhibitions, ensure community access, strengthen our Permanent Collection, and develop exceptional educational programs and offerings that connect individuals and families through art, in the following ways:

Exhibitions that shift the narrative and provide bold new ways of thinking

Showcases for Atlantic-Canadian artists such as Darcie Bernhardt, Letitia Fraser, and Nelson White

Online initiatives such as Studio from Home

Programs in schools that dissolve barriers for young learners

We are grateful for all of our supporters. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to provide spaces for shared experiences, creative exchange, and new ways of thinking.

Pursuant to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Act, Chapter 22, Section 12 RSNS 1989, any gift to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia shall be a gift to the Crown, in right of the Province of Nova Scotia and shall be exempt from tax under any Act of the Legislature. The donor may also claim a deduction under paragraph 110(1)(b) or subsection 118.1(3) (if an individual) of the Income Tax Act of Canada.
