Book Launch for Halifax Art & Artists – An Illustrated History

Halifax Art & Artists presents the stories of the city’s creators from craftspeople and portrait painters to filmmakers and multidisciplinary makers from time immemorial to the present.
The event will feature a panel discussion including the book’s author Ray Cronin; artist Alan Syliboy; Ann Kitz, daughter of Alex Colville, and Sarah Moore Fillmore, CEO, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
Location: Paul O’Regan Hall, Halifax Public Library, 5440 Spring Garden Road
This event is free to the public. ASL services will be provided.
This event is organized by the Art Canada Institute, in partnership with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and Halifax Public Libraries.
