Make Day! Memory Portraits

Thinking about memory, portraiture, and family, explore painting in the style of Jean Paul Lemieux. Working from a photo of your choosing- with people as a subject, you will create works of art based on a family photo, special memory, or meaningful place. Bring your own printed photo or digital file, or paint from your imagination to create a painting you’ll never forget!
Work independently, or with your small group, this program is great for children ages 5+ with an adult. Drop-in, included with the price of admission.
About the program:
Make Day is a studio program for emerging artists of all ages! Designed as an intergenerational art workshop, these sessions lead participants in a short art lesson that introduces an art technique or process, resulting in a fun art piece you can take home. A great way to get connected, inspired, and creative with friends or family. Each month’s activity is inspired by works in an exhibition currently on view.
