Painting Workshop at HSC – March Break with AGNS

Join artist Meggie Richards at Halifax Shopping Centre for a free painting workshop for families with kids age 8+. Meggie will lead you through making your very own spring-inspired mixed media painting! Get creative using stencils, paints, markers and more!
Sessions are from 12-1pm and 1:30-2:30pm. All materials provided.
This event is free however space is limited so pre-registration is required.
About the Artist
Meggie Richards is a queer, interdisciplinary artist from Waverley, Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University. Richards has had solo exhibitions, a residency at the Centre for Craft, multiple group-shows, and currently teaches in NSCAD’s extended studies program. Her work is bright, colorful, and abstract. Richards has a passion for teaching and sharing her technical skills. It is her belief that everyone has the ability to create and to find the power within that act.
