LIVE OLD

This week we are hard at work installing Clay Bodies (curated by Sandra Alfoldy) in our Lloyd and Jean Shaw Ceramics Gallery. This intimate exhibition explores the complex relationship between clay and bodies, both figurative and geographical.

One of the works featured is Shary Boyle’s Live Old which will feel familliar to visitors who saw the Sobey Art Award of 2009, where we showed a similiar version of this work.

Clay Bodies opens to the public on July 23 and also features work by Teresa Bergen, Alison Britton, Michael Flynn, Ernst Lorenzen, Pablo Picasso, Krystyna and Konrad Sadowski, Brother Thomas, Louise Pentz and Walter Ostrom.
